Family is a strong bond that emotionally connects people within the family for a lifetime. When it comes to making music, family bands tend can be very successful because of this unique bond.

We have seen siblings come together to form bands that have achieved tremendous success in their music careers. We have also seen incredible bands whose families have broken apart due to their music careers. We have also seen bands like The Corrs, The Osmonds and Jackson 5 become household names, only to drift apart and disband years later.

The rising surge of family musical groups is prevalent — there are so many groups of young siblings whose musical talents have brought them the success they are basking in now. We have compiled a list of five promising family bands that are set to take over the music world with their skills and unbreakable intra-band bonds.

Ochoa Boyz

You may recognise the second-oldest member of the Ochoa clan, Ryan, from Disney XD's Pair of Kings. The seventeen year old actor starred alongside Mitchell Musso and Doc Shaw in the sitcom, which enjoyed a three-season run from 2010 to 2013. The other members of the group have also had acting roles, pulling in new Ochoa Boyz fans with each acting project. They have been performing all over the United States and it won't be long before they finally put out their own album and gain the international recognition they deserve!

Before You Exit started out on YouTube, where they garnered a massive online following. Millions of views later, the band slowly made the transition from a cover band to a band with original songs and they recently signed with Sony Music. From performing in front of a small crowd of ten people to performing in front of thousands of screaming fans within and outside the United States — that is R5's success story. The four Lynch siblings, along with Ellington Ratliff whom they met at a dance studio in California, got their big break after the band's youngest member scored a gig on Disney, where he stars on Disney sitcom Austin & Ally. More recently, Ross also starred in Disney Channel Original Movie Teen Beach Movie. R5's debut album Louder came out two weeks ago and they were recently named the Next Big Thing by Radio Disney. The band is set to conquer the world with their 2014 Louder Tour, which has been rumoured to reach fans in North America, South America and Europe.

Cimorelli began their careers on YouTube, where they uploaded videos of them singing a capella renditions of popular songs. After their popularity on YouTube earned them a vast global fan-base, the girls were signed to Island Records, which also boasts Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey on its star-studded roster.

Emblem3 shot to fame after placing fourth on the second season of The X Factor USA. Comprising of two brothers and a friend, they have become one of the hottest new acts in the world, with more than 6,000,000 YouTube views on their official music video for their debut single "Chloe (You're the One I Want)".
