Pop star Selena Gomez will be headed to Singapore in 2014! Selena rose to international fame when she landed the lead role of Alex Russo in Disney Channel sitcom Wizards of Waverly Place in 2007. Since then, she has established herself as an actress with lead roles in several movies such as Ramona & Beezus, Monte Carlo and more recently, Spring Breakers. Proving that she's more than just a pretty face and a good actress, Selena broke into the music scene with her band Selena Gomez & the Scene. Selena Gomez & the Scene released a total of three studio albums, all of which have attained platinum status in various countries. The 21 year old Texan recently embarked on a solo music career of her own following the band's hiatus. Selena released her debut solo album Stars Dance to critical acclaim and commercial success as the star earned her first US Billboard 200 chart #1. For the first time ever, Selena will be touring the world — the Stars Dance world tour kicked off in Canada in August 2013, which has taken her all over North America and Europe. The tour will resume in January 2014, which will see her perform in Asia, Oceania and South America. Selena Gomez will be popping by Singapore for a one-night-only concert on February 21, 2014 (Friday), where fans can party the night away and slow down the sun with the talented star.
