They're young but they're fabulous. These young stars may be under the age of eighteen but their celebrity has grown so strong that they have become household names all around the world!
If you're a newbie to the world of teen celebs, allow us to introduce you to six teen celebs you can't not know.
Despite not having released a studio album to date, Austin Mahone is pretty much all teenage girls talk about these days. Don't judge them until you see (or rather, hear) how much talent the 17 year old possesses. With his new single "Mmm Yeah" featuring Pitbull tearing up the charts right now, who knows how insane the Mahone Mania is going to be when Austin finally launches his debut album The Secret in May?
16 year old Olivia Holt is one of Disney's most prized possessions right now. Having starred in the first three seasons of Disney XD series Kickin' It as the feisty Kim Crawford, the actress now stars in new Disney Channel sitcom I Didn't Do It as Lindy Watson. Not only does Olivia act but she also sings — her song "Had Me @ Hello" won her a Radio Disney Music Award for Best Crush Song in 2013!
Camila Cabello is one-fifth of American girl group Fifth Harmony, who placed third in the second season of The X Factor USA. With over 888k followers on Twitter to date (an auspicious number in Asia) and a Top 10 EP on the U.S. Billboard Hot 200 charts with Fifth Harmony, Camila is undoubtedly one of the most influential teenage celebrities in social media today.
Fashionista Peyton List may be just 16 but she already has a long, impressive résumé that can put some established actors to shame. Best known for playing the girly, occasionally air-headed Emma Ross in hit Disney Channel series Jessie, Peyton has had prominent roles in films such as 27 Dresses and the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.
Australian bloke Cody Simpson has made a name for himself as one of the few Australians who have successfully broken into the American and global music market. Cody has grown up in the public eye — he rose to prominence following the release of his debut single "iYiYi" at the age of 13 and now, at 17, he is living proof that puberty is kinder to some and nastier to others. He has set the bar high, boys... Just sayin'.
Bella Thorne rose to fame on Disney Channel's Shake It Up, where she played the funky CeCe Jones. Now, at 16, she has a slew of big-screen projects in 2014 alone. Some upcoming projects this young actress has in store for this year are Blended (where she plays Adam Sandler's daughter), Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (a comedy film with a really long name), Big Sky and Home Invasion (both of which are thriller films).
